Welcome to Havre de Grace Elementary School...
....a school filled with love! We are a school servicing children from 3 years old through 5th grade. The moment you enter our building, you will be wrapped in love - from the music playing in the lobby, to the friendly secretaries greeting you in the office, to our charismatic administrators taking you on tours and answering all of your questions. Our classrooms are filled with enthusiastic, creative, passionate teachers seeking to create memorable moments while also pushing all of our scholars to achieve at high levels. Our students are taught from a young age to work hard, own their mistakes, look people in the eye, take pride in their environment, persevere when things are hard, say ma'am and sir and please and thank you, and treat all the way they would want to be treated. Each member of our school family is placed into a "House," which becomes their family for their entire time at the Grace. Within these Houses, we earn points, play games, build relationships, and work on the core values that will help shape the character in which we become. Families are a huge part of what makes our school so magical, and are encouraged to participate in whatever ways they can.
